Wednesday, April 1 - Nature Break

Hey Vikings and Friends,

Happy April 1st! No fooling, it looks like we have another gorgeous day of sunshine and mild temperatures.

Today I’d like you to take a quarter or other coin with you when you head outside to explore. Can you find four different plants or creatures that would fit on your coin? Bonus points if you trace your quarter in you nature journal and sketch your four finds inside the coin circles.

Did you find more plants or bugs that fit inside your quarter?

If you’re interested in learning more about the bugs that abound in your yard, this Texas Parks and Wildlife workbook has tons of information and activities.

I hope your day is WONDER-full!
