A DEEP COMMUNITY HISTORY
Nolan Catholic High School stands tall as an emblem of unwavering dedication to excellence, fostering a legacy of academic brilliance and character molding since its inception in 1961. Rooted in a rich Catholic legacy, our school embodies the Marianist spirit of faith, service, and community.
Our institution's name echoes the leadership and altruism of Msgr. Robert M. Nolan, setting a standard in our journey toward shaping tomorrow's leaders. Demonstrating his altruism, he fearlessly rushed to aid his community during a devastating fire in 1909. Showcasing his remarkable impact as a leader, his work in the challenging neighborhood of Hell's Half-Acre, led to a significant reduction in crime. His collaboration with unlikely allies for community improvement, despite political differences, exemplified his commitment to the greater good. Msgr. Nolan's spirit continues to imbue our school with the virtues of courage, compassion, and unity as we shape tomorrow's leaders in his honor.
Reverend Msgr. Robert M. Nolan
Nolan Catholic was the shared vision of the Sisters of St. Mary of Namur and the Marianist Brothers. Born from the root of Our Lady Of Victory Academy (an all girls school), the school retained this name until it relocated to its present location thanks to the benevolence of Amon G. Carter's land donation. What started as a co-institutional enterprise (serving boys and girls in separate wings of the original campus), would one day become the premier coeducational choice for the families of Fort Worth.
Transitioning to the leadership of the Marianist Brothers in 1969, and for the next forty-five years, Nolan Catholic High School continued to redefine educational paradigms, offering a holistic experience where academic rigor converged with artistic expression, athletic prowess, and ethical leadership. The Marianist dedication to embracing innovation, and championing individual potential earned us the distinction of being a top-choice institution in the area.
As the school came under diocesan administration in 2014, we remain steadfast in our commitment to nurturing future Christian leaders. Our corridors echo with the footsteps of more than 10,000 alumni who have carved their paths across global sectors, standing as testaments to our commitment to academics, faith formation, and leadership development.

ACREDITACIÓN
La Escuela Secundaria Católica Nolan es una Escuela Secundaria Preparatoria para la Universidad (grados 9-12). NCHS se estableció en 1961 y está acreditado por el Departamento de Educación de la Conferencia Católica de Obispos de Texas (TCCB ED) , Asociación de Colegios y Escuelas del Sur (SACS) y AdvancED .
El propósito de TCCB ED es ayudar a las escuelas católicas en el estado de Texas con 1) iniciativas de mejora escolar continua, 2) rendición de cuentas con las mejores prácticas educativas, 3) fortalecimiento de la misión e identidad, y 4) mejora del rendimiento académico.
SACS solo acredita a las escuelas que cumplen con sus rigurosos criterios académicos, incluido un compromiso de mejora continua. La acreditación de SACS también garantiza que seamos reconocidos a nivel nacional por la mayoría de los organismos de acreditación regionales y que nuestros estudiantes se beneficien de un personal docente experto, cursos integrales y textos de calidad.
Los líderes educativos trabajan con AdvancED para establecer prioridades, identificar recursos y realizar un seguimiento del progreso de los esfuerzos de mejora para sus instituciones.
