Nolan Catholic softball team is STATE BOUND!
Friday, May 18

 After a 25-4-1 record and a playoff victory last Saturday, our Nolan Catholic Softball team is STATE BOUND!  The team is headed to Crosby, TX to take on Katy Saint John XXIII Prep at 4:00 p.m.

Powder Puff Finals and Spring Football Game
Saturday, May 19

Ten teams divided into two divisions have entered the Powder Puff Football Tournament.  Games begin at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 15 and continue on Thursday, May 17.

The top two teams from each division will square off for a Final Four on Saturday.

The Final Four game will be at 2:00 p.m. and the Championship game will be at 2:30 p.m. on the football field, Saturday May 19th.

Following the Championship game, the football team will kickoff their annual Blue v. White Spring game at 4:00 p.m.  

Immediately after the scrimmage, NaNa Osofo-Mensah will verbally commit in front of our team and fans to play for either the University of Notre Dame or the University of Texas.  

The day will conclude  with the Nolan Catholic High School Alumni 7 on 7 passing game, where our football alumni can throw, catch, and defend on the turf of Doskocil Stadium once more.

There will be drinks and snacks available in the bottom concessions throughout the day for any family/friends.

2018 Nolan Catholic Viking Lift-A-Thon
May 21-23

The Lift-A-Thon is a major fundraiser for the football program.  The money raised will go towards the following:

  • Overnight football and spiritual retreat for the team in August
  • Safety equipment
  • Locker room updates

Each participant will attempt a maximum lift in bench press, power clean, squat, and deadlift.  Sponsors can donate in two ways

  • A flat donation of your choice
  • Per pound

Volunteer Opportunites - Colonial Golf Tournament
May 23 - 27

As in years past, we are in need of volunteers to work two concession stands over the course of the tournament.  Available shifts are 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  

Volunteers receive a single day entry badge and are invited to watch the tournament before or after their shifts.  

All volunteers receive an NCHS golf shirt to be worn while volunteering.  Parking passes are provided (limited number, so carpooling is encouraged).

Volunteer packages (badges, parking passes and shirts) will be available for pick up at the school the week of the event.

Parking Permit Lottery for 2018-19 School Year
Tuesday, May 29

The NCHS Parking Permit Lottery will take place in the Arena on Tuesday, May 29th after exams according to the schedule below.

Students will need to bring their $50 payment and a Parking Permit Registration Form to the Arena. The form is available in the main office.

***ALL STUDENTS planning to park on the Nolan Campus during the school year must have their vehicle registered with the Main Office and have a current NCHS parking sticker. Parking permits are also available for purchase throughout the school year.

Rising Seniors - 12:15 p.m.

Rising Juniors - After Seniors

All other students - After Juniors

 **Parking permits are always available for purchase during the summer in the main office during regular office hours and at the final registration event held in August.**

Project Graduation '19 Used Uniform Sale
Thursday, June 14

Project Graduation '19 will host a Used Uniform Sale to raise funds on Thursday, June 14 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the Library.  

Please deposit gently worn and clean uniforms in one of the boxes located at the Bridge Street Door, Circle Door or Commons Door.  


To help support this great project, we need volunteers to help spread the workload.  If you would like to volunteer, please contact Pat Pierret for more information.
