Thank you for continuing to review the TAPPS updates.  As of Friday, we are continuing to monitor the actions of different agencies and their different response scenarios.  

 

TAPPS will continue to review our options as presented on the 17th. As new information becomes available we will determine the best options available for competition this spring.

 

TAPPS will provide an update early next week on this page and any changes will be made available through our social media accounts.

At this time, the TAPPS goal is to provide championship opportunities to our member schools and students and the opportunity to participate.

ALL Activities (Fine Arts and Athletics)

At this time:

  • No interscholastic contests

    • No GAMES, SCRIMMAGES, or CONTESTS between school team and​

      • Other school based teams​

      • This includes TAPPS schools,

      • UIL schools and

      • Schools from other recognizes leagues

      • Regardless of whether those leagues allow play

    • No GAMES, SCRIMMAGES, or CONTESTS between school and

      • Home School Teams​

      • Alumni Teams

      • Select Teams

At this time:

  • Practice

    • Practice allowed is school is​

      • In regular session

      • In modified session with all students attending class on campus

    • Practice is not allowed if school is

      • Providing instruction digitally or​

      • Through email assignments

      • DEAD WEEK Protocols shall be in effect (for Fine Arts as Well)

        • School personnel may​

          • Develop practice/rehearsal plans​

          • Distribute plans to students

        • School personnel may not

          • Allow use of School facilities​

          • ​Make workout/rehearsal plans mandatory​

          • Supervise workouts
