Michael Davidson, Laneri '60 donated books to the NCHS Library this Fall in memory of his sons, Chase and Graham. Michael faithfully donates books every semester and Ms. O’Herron, the NCHS Librarian, pictured top left, chooses a variety of books for the students in honor of Chase and Graham.

Fr. Mike Gallagher ’67 happened to be in El Paso on his way to Rome when the pandemic hit, so that is where he stayed. Fr. Mike telecommuted to Rome daily from El Paso until recently. He is now assigned to Sacred Heart Parish in downtown El Paso and will do legal and parish ministry work on both sides of the border.
Mike Boteler ’68 is “currently working with a colleague in Edmonton, Alberta and on occasion with Sir George Penrose (only through my friend and former colleague) … on the QM, consciousness and the many challenges to keep the quantum wavefunction to maintain superposition until,,,until ...until.” Wave function collapse is also one of the subjects. Mike continues, “It is a very exciting time with the source of consciousness hanging in the balance.”
Julie Radykowski Stephens ‘74 is living in the Rocky Mountains writing a blog about life in the mountains and taking care of and writing about Mountain Mutts. Julie’s latest book, Mountain Mutts – Joy’s Story, can be found at a bookstore of the Society of Children’s Books, Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI)
Stephanie Baumgardner Klick, class of ’75, retained her seat in the Texas House of Representatives, District 91, after the most recent election results were tallied.

Patrice Thomas White ’79, happened to be at the TAPPS State Cross Country Meet to support her son’s team. While there, she took some photos of the Nolan Catholic Cross Country runners proving herself to be a very good photographer.
In the recent election, Tan Parker ’89 retained his seat in the Texas House of Representatives for District 63.
Robyn Larson Coffey ’95, her husband, Micah; her father, Ray; and her son, Callan, toured the NCHS campus in anticipation of Callan’s being a Viking freshman in a couple of years. Their “we have to see” spot was the gym. In the early 90s, Ray and Robyn designed and painted the inside of the gym with the school name and created and hung the shields. Robyn, Ray and Callan are pictured here with their “work.”
Rudy Metayer ’98 was appointed by the Supreme Court of Texas to the Board of Disciplinary Appeals (BODA). Read more about BODA and Rudy’s appointment.
Christine Tran Buczek ’99 and her husband, William, are living in Euless with their two children, Lana and Stanley. Christine and William recently bought a franchise of sweetFrog, a mobile premium frozen yogurt business. Read more about it in the Alumni Business Highlights in the e-news.
Lauren Kulpa '04 has been named a partner with the PerkinsCoie law firm. Lauren works in the Labor division of the firm.
Cynthia Dorado Johnson ’06 and her husband, Gregory, welcomed Mia Camila on Oct. 26, 2020. Mom says baby Mia is “doing well and sleeping tons.”
Jenn Sims '10 earned her BA in Biology from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio and is now at Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth as the Clinical Research Coordinator in Neuroblastoma research.
Abby Hulsizer ’12 is serving on a new internal medicine interprofessional teaching service with medical residents at her practice site, Medical City Arlington. UNT System College of Pharmacology posted a feature about Abby on their Facebook page.
