Sr. Loretta Rose Tallas, OLV '60 celebrated 50 years as a Sister of the Holy Family of Nazareth.
An Illusion of Thieves, a novel by Carol Berg '66, has won the 2020 Colorado Book Award in the fantasy/science fiction category. The book is written under Carol’s pseudonym, Cate Glass. She said that since there was a different publisher for this book, she decided to use the pseudonym. Glass is her mother’s family name.
Art Roehl '67 earned the “Best Fan Award” at the VSPYs (NCHS’ version of the ESPYs). Art watches the games online and texts the football coaches regularly from Chile where he lives.
It's been 50 years since Don Thompson '68 was killed in action in Viet Nam. Watch this video tribute to Don by his brother, Pete Thompson ‘72, for the occasion of awarding the Don Thompson Memorial Award at the VSPYs (NCHS sports awards ceremony).

Kathryn Seyer '16 married Jack Buell on May 24, 2020 in New York. Another COVID-19 story. Kathryn and Jack were to graduate from the US Military Academy, West Point, in May; however, due to the pandemic, West Point moved their graduation to June 13, 2020, their original wedding date. What do you do then, but change your wedding date? They both graduated in June and are assigned to Fort Carson, Colorado.
Grace Senkowsky '16 qualified for the Spring 2020 Dean's List at Belmont University
Hector Trujillo '16 earned a BA degree in Sociology at Loyola University Maryland's 168th Commencement Exercises. The degrees were presented virtually.
Oliver Gallina '17 was named to the University of Utah's Spring 2020 Dean's List. Oliver’s major is listed as Games BS.
